Basically anyone with either device can use it as a trade-in, for say, I don’t know, maybe the iPhone 4? The 3G model could fetch you $100, and the 3G “S for Speed” $200 smackarooneys! Clearly they don’t actually hand you cold hard cash over the counter, they’ll give the money via store credit on a card. As long as your device is in good condition (i.e., no water damage, all bits still attached where they should be), you’ll get the dough.
