Basically anyone with either device can use it as a trade-in, for say, I don’t know, maybe the iPhone 4? The 3G model could fetch you $100, and the 3G “S for Speed” $200 smackarooneys! Clearly they don’t actually hand you cold hard cash over the counter, they’ll give the money via store credit on a card. As long as your device is in good condition (i.e., no water damage, all bits still attached  where they should be), you’ll get the dough.

New Mac Mini Small in Size and in Value

What’s great about the update is the new case design, the HDMI port, and the speed bump in specs. The new mini lives in a smaller, brushed aluminum case with a twist off bottom that gives easy access to the RAM. No more pulling off the case with a putty knife. Apple has shown once again that it cares intensely about its products, and put its brilliant design into everything it does. Moving the power brick inside the case is another example of small moves that translate to a better user experience. The new mini is sharp and sleek.

CBS.com Publicly Testing iPad-Ready Video

CBS.com is experimenting with HTML5 video, the plugin-free video technology supported by Apple mobile devices including the iPhone and iPad. With HTML5 running on the CBS website's back-end, visitors from these and other Internet-connected devices could stream videos without having to install the Adobe Flash plugin, something that Apple CEO Steve Jobs is known to be vehemently against, having penned a public statement giving half a dozen reasons why Apple mobile devices won't include its support.
